Please give us the following information:
1. Does the issue persist with the latest (6.7.287) build of dotConnect for PostgreSQL?
2. Are you using pgPool? If yes, specify its exact version.
3. Tell us the version of your PostgreSQL server.
4. Can you reproduce the problem with a simple ADO.NET code ( http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/postgresql/docs/?Devart.Data.PostgreSql~Devart.Data.PostgreSql.PgSqlDataReader.html )? If not, send us a small test project with the corresponding DDL/DML script for reproducing.
5. Are you executing code on the same workstation where PostgreSQL server (and pgPool) is installed?

Hi All

Here are the results for your test and questions :

1.The error is constant for any type of query using dotConnect with pgPool.

when you create a standard visual studio (using server explorer) connection and try to brows the table you get the exception.
when you use other providers Npg... you don't get the error.

2. The issue is also issue persist with the latest (6.7.287) build of dotConnect for PostgreSQL !!!!

3. Versions : pgpool-II-3.2.4, postgresql-9.2.

4. Problem reproduce with a simple ADO.NET code whit now problem, sorry i can not give you live connection to our database site, but attached screen the ado error.

5.The code is being executed on the application server not on the database server.

6.Pgpool provides us with multi muster replication, adding and removing nodes dynamically not just pooling, can your product do that ?
