Questions Regarding pgsqldump

Post by leeottaway » Sun 06 Jan 2008 14:03

Hi

Can you answer a few of questions regarding backing up a pgSQL database.

1. Is pgsqldump only available in the professional version of your software (I currently have the standard version)

2. Is pgsqldump dependant on pgdump being installed on the target machine or is it a completely separate utility.

3. I'm presuming there's a pgsqlrestore which is just as easy to use?

Thanks

1. PgSqlDump class is only available in professional edition of PostgreSQLDirect .NET
2. PgSqlDump class is not dependent on any installed utility.
3. This is a method of PgSqlDump class.
You can download a trial version and try all the functionality of professional edition.
