oracle 12c release 2 and direct connection

Post by mariot » Thu 26 Jan 2017 13:02

Hi,

I can't connect to Oracle 12c Release 2 through Direct access. When I connect to beta version it return error "ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol". When I connect to Oracle Cloud Version it return error "ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel".

Direct connection to older Oracle versions is OK.
Connection to Oracle 12c Release 2 with Oracle client (Direct = false) is OK.

Do you can confirm this problem with UniDAC or it is only my problem?

Best regards,
Mario Tkacik

Thank you

Thank you for the information. We have reproduced the problem and fixed the bug. The fix will be included in the next ODAC build. Currently, we can send you a night build of ODAC with the fix. For this, please specify your license number and the exact version of Delphi you are using via the e-support form ( https://www.devart.com menu "Support"\"Request Support" )

We are planning UniDAC release with RAD Studio Delphi 10.2 Tokyo support next week. The changes you need will be included in this build.
