BPL's always required?

Post by gb » Wed 17 Nov 2010 15:01

Hi!

We're using the evaluation version and noticed that even if
compiling with "RunTime Packages" OFF and "Dynamic RTL" OFF,
DAC140.BPL, UNIDAC140.BPL are required.

Additionaly, RTL140.BPL and DBRTL140.BPL are also required.
That's some additional 3.25MB to deploy besides the main
monolitic application.

Will this restriction still be present on the full registered
version or is just on the evaluation?

Thank you.

Hello

The only restriction of the trial version is that you cannot create application without required BPL. If you purchase a license, you will be able to download full UniDAC version without this restriction and you will be able to create an application (EXE file) that does not require any BPL.
