Question: Package Execution

Post by wi937c-amr » Mon 02 Jul 2012 21:28

The current release of OraDeveloper Tools (2.60.176) provides the capability of executing package procedures that accept multiple input collection/array parameters and output cursor parameters very easily, however in the current release of dbForge Studio for Oracle (3.1.206) does not appear to provide this same level of functionality.

According to the dbForge Studio for Oracle documentation for the "Edit Parameters Dialog Box" the dialog should provide an Array Length option similar to that provided by OraDeveoper Tools to multiple values can be provided for the package procedure.

I would like to know if array functionality is supported or is it an error in the documentation?

If it is supported, would there be anything that would prevent the "Array Length" option from being visible in the "Edit Parameters Dialog"?

Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

This functionality is not yet supported in the current build of the product. We will remove the according information from Help documentation for now.
