Visual Studio Devart Database Project and Source Control

Post by adrianmole009 » Thu 28 Jan 2010 15:35

Hi,

I would like to ask if the devart database wizard tool can integrate with source control as a project. The import schema feature is great however if i cannot use check in check out how can i collaborate with other team members on the same database project? It is worth noting that the features i require do exist in SQL Server full check in check out etc. However it would appear to me that the devart offering is missing this final bit of integration. Can anyone please confirm for me if this is the case? I have downloaded the visual studio tools from Oracle as well and their projects support check in check out however there is no import schmea feature. So this leads me to multiple steps to follow utilizing the pros and cons from each offering to get to a position of having a source controlled database.

Unfortunately, source control integration is not implemented by now.

Unfortunately, we don't have an estimation time for implementing this.
