Dataset Sample - fails to load the SQL Data

I created and registered a new MySql DB - "test" .. I ran the tables.sql script to load the DB - it loaded just fine. I click on the DATASET Sample and it comes up without any data from the Select statement. I clickm on CONNECT and point to the "test" DB ... no data displays. All of the other icons result in an error (unhandled exception error .. blah blah ..)

I am clicking on the URL Link form teh Samples start menu item. that's in the readMe.hml link ...

C:\Program Files\CoreLab\MySQLDirect.NET2\Samples\ReadMe.html

What am I doing wrong?

Did you press Fill button to fill the dataset?
