Exception Commands out of sync; You can't run this command n

Post by csetzkorn » Thu 11 Nov 2004 14:57

After removing the trial version and installing the ‘real’ version I obtain this:

“Exception Commands out of sync; You can't run this command now”

Everything worked fine before, so I don’t think I call “client functions in the wrong order” (see MySQL help). Any pointers?

Many thanks.

I have received that error when I set the options in the MyODBC driver for "don't cache" and "force forward cursor". The message goes away when I undo those options. The reason I have those options set is because with large tables I get a "client out of memory" error. So far, I haven't encountered a situation in which I get one of these errors no matter what I do...
