install problems on vs2005

Post by crazyhor77 » Wed 11 Oct 2006 06:05

hi, i would like to try out the trial version of mysqldirect .net but am having troubles after install.

i am using the .net 2.0 version and after install i go to vs2005 to look for the mysql components in the toolbox, but they are not there. there is no tab and there is no components that i can see.

if i try to choose the items to add to the toolbox, they are already selected. i tried unselecting them, apply, then selecting, apply again to no avail.

i saw this problem on another thread, but it was not answered, i hope there is a solution to this.

thanks for any help you can provide

What edition of VS do you use?
Try to choose our assembly manually to add components.

Try to reinstall MySQLDirect .NET.
Make sure that MySQLDirect isn't installed and there are no
CoreLab.MySql.dll, CoreLab.MySql.Addin.dll, CoreLab.MySql.Design.dll in GAC.
