License Issues Compact Framework Smartphone 2003

Post by blaise » Thu 05 Oct 2006 21:08

Hello
I'm running into alot of problems with the License not found error
Basically i have a Smartphone app that is being developed in VS2005
When i go the Liceses.licx route LC generates an assembly manifest doesn't match error
When i try building it manually and adding it to the solutions data access component i get a license not found error
All of your documentation says that you don't have to do anything extra in order to license the CF version of CoreLab.
How come the addin for the 1.1 version of the CF isn't available in VS2005?
That really makes it difficult for projects that need to deploy on multiple platforms.

Do you have some kind of tutorial on how to manually build a license for the version 1.1 of the Compact framework under VS2005?

You really has nothing to do with the license in CF.
But if you have a problem, create a small application with one MySqlConnection and send us source files and compiled binaries.

Well i can send you source code if you like
But all I really need to know is,
how do you manually create he Corelab.Mysql.Licenses file that gets autogenererated for the Comapact Framework.
The CF1.0 visual studio Plugin will now register with vs2005
or how do you install the CF1.0 plugin in VS2005???

Yes, sometimes we are reported about licensing problems in CF, but when we try to investigate these problems they vanish themselves.
