How do you upgrade to the new build?

Post by AnthonyJAttard » Sat 23 Sep 2006 07:15

I have just read the announcement about the new build.

How do I get hold of it?
How do I install it?

Grab your userid and password from your purchase (not your forum id)
Close your visual studio and any running applications.
The go to start, programs, and uninstall mysql.netdataprovider
You then have to go back online, download the new version like you did the first time.
This is where you go for pro.

Your email gave you the link to your program.
You'll need your user id and password they gave you in the email after your purchase.
the download it and run it.
see my post about fixing the database connection error.

Cannot find my userid and pwd

Post by AnthonyJAttard » Mon 25 Sep 2006 06:35

Sorry for the delay replying.

I have been unable to find my original userid and password due to the fact that I lost all my emails after a hard drive failure.

I will need to get these from sales before I can continue.

I have been sent the user id and password from sales and downloaded and installed the updates.

All went well as I followed your instructions. The only problem was with installing the virtual directories for IIS which I did later after installing the .NET files.

Thanks for the help.
