Previous version (installed while in XP , before upgrading to VISTA) fails to uninstall ... thus new version will not install. Any instructions for manual uninstallation available ?

Manual uninstall

I have had to do a registry search for crlab, corelab, and a few other things in the registry, removing all parent keys. Then removing the GAC assemblies, including the policy*crlab* files, and then finally removing Program Files\Core Labs.

Names are approximate, but you get the idea.

New build of MySQLDirect .NET 3.55.16 is available.
To remove previous version manually you should:
Stop Windows Installer service;
Delete key in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products that corresponds to MySQLDirect .NET;
Delete key in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Assemblies that corresponds to CoreLab.MySql.dll;
Remove all CoreLab.* assemblies from GAC;
Stop IIS service if you install Web demos virtual directories;
Remove \Program Files\CoreLab\MySQLDirect.NET folder.
After that you can install MySQLDirect .NET again.

I hate to say it, but I followed Alexey's instructions to the letter, cleaning out the registry and GAC, and ran the new installation (which completed without an error), but I'm STILL getting the same licensing error.

I've created a completely new VS2005 Windows Forms application and dragged the MySqlConnection onto Form1, and the Licensing error immediately appears.

Am I missing something?
