SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services and MySQL???

Post by phyzfer » Thu 13 Apr 2006 17:11

How do we implement the MySQLDirect.NET Data Provider into SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services? I understand and know how to configure SQL Server 2000 to handle exteranal data sources, by using Data Processing Extensions -- but in 2005, the files (RSReportDesigner, RSReportServer, etc) are located in different locations, and I can't figure out what should be used for the settings of the and tags for these files. Any help??

I have the standard edition of MySQLDirect.NET (I just purchased it a week ago).

many thanks,

You need MySQLDirect .NET installed on the machine where SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services reside.
