Post by Ivo Trompert » Fri 07 Apr 2006 13:29

I try out MySQL Direct 3.5 because of the ASP.NET Providers. But I also want to use the controls from the toolbox.

I have try to add the controls to the toolbox by clicking right on a empty space of the toobox and click on the menu optie "Chooce Items...".

But when I enable alle the controls white MySQL in the text and click on oke I don't get any controls in the toolbox extra.

thnx,

Right-click on *.aspx file in Server Explorer and choose "View Component
Designer" option.

Is there now way I can use it as the SQL controls, directly form the toolbox to the aspx file and se it in the design vieuw if I make my website? Becaus this is not the simple drag and drop as a SQL datasource in ASP.NET 2.0.

We can't see any problems in dragging components from Toolbox and dropping them onto *.aspx file.
What is the problem you experience?

Oke I see the controls if I right-click on the aspx file and choos the menu option "View Component Designer". But is it posible to see the controls if I'm in the designe vieuw of the aspx file? Or is the onley way in the Component Designer.

I aske this becaus the SQL controls are avalibale in the toobox if the aspx is in design vieuw.

No, it is not possible to see the controls while you are in the design view of the *.aspx file.
