support for .net core, nuget and ef7

Any plans to support .net core for cross platform development?

Any plans to support ef7?

Any plans to incorporate nuget for easy installation in asp.net 5? Can this be done with commercial software?

Our roadmap includes .NET Core (no timeframe).

EF7 (EF Core) is being developed by Microsoft for the following target platforms:
  • .NET 4.5.1 and higher -> this will be supported by our providers first (an approximate timeframe is March 2016)
    ASP.NET Core (dnx451)
    .NET Core (dnxcore50)
    Universal Windows Platform

The Nuget approach is currently available only for the Express edition: http://forums.devart.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=32182. A licensed developer may install the provider on a separate (e.g.: virtual) workstation, build the license resource manually (http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/mysql/ ... nsing.html > Compiling License Manually ), then copy the license resource with the Devart.* assemblies to development/build workstation.

Entity Framework Core (formerly, Entity Framework 7) is supported in the newest (8.5) version of dotConnect for MySQL: http://forums.devart.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=33572.

Our roadmap includes .NET Core (no timeframe).
Is there a Timeframe now? not EF7 or .net4*
