When I get to the add connection screen the moment I type anything into the hosts field the form just vanishes. No messages or errors appear.

Am using VS2005 on XP64bit SP2 with MYSQL 5.

Any suggestions?

Please describe here in the forum the problem in details.
Do you use MySQLDirect .NET design-time features or use MySQL Developer Tools? Specify title of the window that craches.

I managed to fix the issue by updating machine.config in both the 32bit and 64bit framework directories.
