Hello,

I am using the mysql entity.
But I always get this error on the production machine.
The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid.

It is a WPF application made with Visual Studio 2010.

greets,

John

Have you registered dotConnect for MySQL's configuration information in the DbProviderFactories section of the *.config file as it is described at http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/mysql/docs/?Deployment.html ?

Hello,

It is an WPF application.
I don't have an DbFactory setting.
Only connectionstring setting.

Hello,

I have done everything that is on http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/mysql/docs/?Deployment.html.
I put Devart.Data.dll, Devart.Data.MySql.dll and Devart.Data.MySql.Entity.dll on the same location of my exe file.
Rebuild with the proper license information.

But no go !

On my developer machine everything goes fine!
What I'm a doing wrong?

Greets,

John

Please add the DbProviderFactories entry for dotConnect for MySQL as it is described at http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/mysql/docs/?Deployment.html.

Shalex,

Thanks,

I thought this was just for webapps.
But when I added the :
Code: Select all
<system.data>
  <DbProviderFactories>
    <remove invariant="Devart.Data.MySql" />
    <add name="dotConnect for MySQL" invariant="Devart.Data.MySql" description="Devart dotConnect for MySQL" type="Devart.Data.MySql.MySqlProviderFactory, Devart.Data.MySql, Version=7.0.6.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=09af7300eec23701" />
  </DbProviderFactories>
</system.data>

Everything works.
Many thanks !
