So I've stuck my neck out and purchased the upgrade hoping this license issue will go away. But it hasn't, I'm still getting the expired license error. And no one seems to be responding to this issue. The directions in the documentation aren't working for me. We need this resolved!

I too purchased the upgrade hoping it would fix the problem but it didn't. I never got a license error with the pre 3 version. I then tried the 3.20 beta which worked and then tried the final release of 3.20 when the error showed up in my ASP.NET projects.

Is there a chance it could be caused by going from a registered version to unregistered. In addition to getting the error using an existing project, I also get it with a new project that only contains a connection object.

I've been using CoreLab products for many years starting with several Delphi objects. I've been happy using them but this problem has made me loose all confidence in the company. I've sent several emails to the support address and haven't received a response.

It's clear this isn't an isolated problem. Tech support may not have an answer but they should at least work with us to try to resolvev it.

Tech Support where are you???

Delete obj and bin folders
The name of exe-file should be the same as the solution
Rebuild everything
this solved my licence problem

When i change the name of the output file..the problem is back.

I tried this for 3 different "old" solutions and it worked for every solution

Well, it looks like ANOTHER day off work for me. We are closing in on a whole work week now. These meaningless two line answers your giving us every 24 hours sure are frustrating.

I didn't receive any notification of the update being ready but decided to check anyway. I just downloaded what appears to be version 3.20.6.

It's seems to work but I'm just now starting to test. In any case, I get past the license error.

To add further weight to the subject - I am now also shut down on my project. I had the pre 3.2 3.x release and all was working fine. Now frozen and cannot resolve.

If I could make a suggestion. Please allow access to previous versions when you release a new one. At least that way, users could roll back if they had to. I cannot find a way to see the earlier 3.x versions of PRO.

This needs to be fixed immediately. At least make prior release available.

Hooray, I found by 3.05 download. I'm back in business.

Let me say it again. Make the older versions available to licensed registered users. This experience has not been good!

Get license error in vs2002 and vs2005

Post by chadm » Wed 21 Dec 2005 21:05

I am getting the license issue in vs2003 & vs2005. I uninstalled v2.8 in vs2003. Then installed v3.20.5 in vs2003 and vs2005 and now I get the license error. I upgraded to v3.20.6 in both vs 2003 and vs2005 and still get the same error. This is a winforms project. Please help! I have followed all the suggestions in this forum.

Check also if your build target name (name of .exe or .dll file) is the same as project name. This limitation will be fixed in next release.

Still get licensing error

Post by chadm2 » Wed 28 Dec 2005 12:56

I checked that the build target name (name of .exe or .dll file) is the same as project name and that still did not resolve the licensing issue. When will an update be released? This is very URGENT!!
