detecting mysqldirect.net proper version install

Post by shutterstock » Tue 22 Nov 2005 14:57

How can I determine if the machine running my application
1) has mysqldirect.net installed
2) has the proper version of mysqldirect.net installed - the one we used to compile our app with?

I'm running into 2 problems..
- application crashes if mysqldirect.net isn't installed on the target machine
- application crashes if mysqldirect.net is an older version on the target machine than what i compiled with..

let me know
thanks

According to license agreement the best way for you is to distribute run-time assemblies with your app.
