VS 2005 and MySQLDirect 3.20 Beta

Post by kazachok » Mon 21 Nov 2005 20:30

Hello everyone.
I just installed MySQLDirect Trial 3.20 Beta and now I am experiencing some issues:
1. DbExplorer Window is not showing up.
2. Using MySQLDataAdapter cannot generate DataSet with all the tables in design time. shows only one table.

Also in the announcement Core Lab said that Development Tools only available in Proffesional Version of MySQL Direct, does this mean that the trial version will not have these tools.

If anyone has the same issues please let me know.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

We cannot reproduce the problems you've defined.
Try to reinstall MySQLDirect .NET. Make sure that MySQLDirect isn't installed and there are no CoreLab.MySql.dll, CoreLab.MySql.Addin.dll, CoreLab.MySql.Design.dll files in GAC.
If this doesn't help please let us know.

As described here MySQLDirect .NET Trial includes MySQL Developer Tools addin.

We just purchased a Pro version.
I downloaded it and installed it after uninstalling all the CoreLab products including MySQLDirect .NET and .NET2 3.20 Beta. Removed assemblies from GAC removed all the leftover folders and help files.
I am still experiencing the same problem - cannot view DbExplorer Window.
Data window and LOB Viewer show up normally.

P.S. I also sent this info to the tech support.

Please help me out.
Thanks.

Kaz
