For the trial edition of dotConnect for MySQL, it is necessary to refer to both MySqlDataProvider and MySqlConnection components in the licenses.licx file. With the Professional edition, it is sufficient to refer to MySqlConnection only.

Thank you for your assistance, we will add this information to our licensing documentation.

Thanks for the info; although I mentioned in my original post that I had not yet purchased the tool, I probably didn't make it clear that this was the trial version. At any rate I'm glad to finally have everything working...

I have only a Webforms application with many class library projects, not Linux etc, but had similar experience with licensing devart. Hopefully with good end. I blogged about this here: http://coder21.blogspot.cz/2014/04/deva ... -hell.html .
