Populate MySQL from SQL Server in SSIS (BIDS)

Post by allen » Thu 11 Jun 2009 08:20

Hi, just downloaded the pro trial of dotConnect for MySQL to try to use it to move data into MySQL using SQL Server Integration Services. I installed the BIDS support item but I dont see anything in my SSIS environment that looks like a MySQL connection. Am I misunderstanding what the BIDS support is?

Thanks

dotConnect for MySQL should be in the list of available providers in the Connection Manager window when creating new Data Source.

If our provider is not available in your SSIS project, please specify:
1. Do you use BIS 2005 or 2008?
2. What is your current version of dotConnect for MySQL (Tools | MySQL | About menu of the Visual Studio)?
3. Tell us the steps we should follow to reproduce the problem.
