Problem with trial version .Net Mobile 4.7

Post by daniel01 » Thu 17 Jul 2008 15:30

Hello,

I wanted to try one of your product, .Net mobile 4.7 compact framework 1.1 for Visual Studio 2003.
I have installed :
- Windows XP Service pack 3 updated
- Visual Studio 2003 .NET with SP1
- .Net Compact Framework 1.0 SP3 and 1.1
- SDK Mobile 2003
- Smart devices extensions
- Mysql Server 5.0

I've installed .Net mobile 4.7 no error at all in the installation (First time installed on the PC).
I know that the Compact Framework Visual studio works, I've tried to build a project Hello World that works.
Afterwards I tried to do a simple connection with CoreLab.MySql no error occured on the building of the project.
But when i try a connexion on the database i get an exception (Sorry, your trial period has expired. To order...)
I've noticed when i click on Licensing Information on Visual Studio, I get 2 errors :
- MyDirect .NET Mobile is not installed or installed not correctly.
- Incompatible MyDirect .NET Mobile assemblies are loaded :CoreLab.CF.MySql: Standard, CoreLab.CF.MySql.Addin: Trial

I've been looking everywhere on the Net and in your website but i didn't find anything about it.
By the way, I haven't change the date computer or change the registery.
And it the first time i've installed it.

Thanks for your help.
Daniel.

Hello Andrey,

Well, i guess you don't have any news. It's a shame.
Well, i've been using .net mysql connector (from mysql website) which works just fine without a problem with the Visual studio platform and mysql.

Thanks anyway. Daniel

We made a lot of tests and failed to reproduce the error.
So the porblem is likely to be associated with your local configuration.
You can try a new Trial build of our product, it may suit you.
