I'm using tedit from www.tedit.net. I need to use mysql, this is not possible because there is no good OLEDB driver available for MySql. I need an OLEDB driver that supports providing metadata (key and column information). These are available for Oracle, MSSQL/MSDE and Access.

My dude is if mysqldirect covers this issue.

MySQLDirect .NET is an ADO .NET data provider.
