Hello
we get error : ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
in direct mode.

We are using Devart 9.6.696.0 and
Oracle Database 19c Standard Edition 2 Release 19.0.0.0.0

Is there a special setting needed in connection string or sqlnet.ora?

Please try using the newest build v9.14.1204 of dotConnect for Oracle (revision history page).

If this doesn't help, send us the following information via our contact form:

2) your connection string (mark confidential information with asterisks)
