Problems with oraDirect mobile for net 2

Hi
I download the CoreLab OraDirect .NET2 Mobile.

Whenever I try to connect to the Oracle database (even with the examples) I got the message : “NETNetWorkErrorA Socket operation was attempted to an unreachable host.”

I tried in different PCs. I have installed the Oracle 9i for Windows in an XP PRO PC. Does any one else have the same problem or and idea of what is going wrong?

The problem is with TCP connection. Possibly DNS is not configured in your pocket PC. Try to use IP address for connection.
If you use Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator from Visual Studio 2005 please see http://blogs.msdn.com/vsdteam for information on how to configure connection.

Hi Paul, I tried with the IP conecction but still the same problem. Also I used the program in AXIM x51v with mobile 5, but I have the same problem.
Içm going to read the article you mentioned and tested again.
