Please provide the following information:
1. dotConnect for Oracle version.
2. Oracle server version.
3. The results of comparing Direct and OCI modes. How big is the difference in your case?

Please create and send us a complete small test console application that reproduces the issue. Please also send us the DDL/DML scripts of your type and all the objects required for running your test project.
