Suggestion: load progress event for OracleLoader

Suggestion: load progress event for OracleLoader

Postby Dennis Wanke » Sun 18 May 2014 10:55

Consider providing a load progress event for OracleLoader class, similar to

SqlBulkCopy.SqlRowsCopied (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlbulkcopy.sqlrowscopied.aspx)
and OracleBulkCopy.OracleRowsCopied (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E51173_01/win.122/e17732/OracleBulkCopyClass.htm#ODPNT7861)

The event would be especially useful with the batch-load method(s) like LoadTable()

We will investigate the possibility to implement an event similar to SqlBulkCopy.SqlRowsCopied and post here about the results as soon as possible.

We have added the RowsCopied event that allows tracking data loading progress and correctly break the data loading operation to the OracleLoader class.

New version of dotConnect for Oracle 9.0 is released.
It can be downloaded from http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/oracle/download.html (trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (for users with valid subscription only).
