Could not retrieve object : Can not obtain Oracle client information from registry. Make sure that Oracle Client Softwar

I have been using Direct Connect on the server with a Professional trial version of dotConnect for Oracle with no problems. Now I am trying to connect to two separate schemas in the same Oracle instance and I get the following error:

Could not retrieve object : Can not obtain Oracle client information from registry. Make sure that Oracle Client Software is installed, or use Direct mode of connecting to server.


I'm not sure what's going on. The only thing that has changed is that two schemas are being used.

Any ideas?

Could you please describe the way you use two schemas? Did you change only the connection string or something else too?
Please send us your new connection string.
