Is Unicode supported with direct connections to 9i databases

Hi there,

we were running into problems with this a year ago, and wondered whether you had done any work to fix the issues.

Any info would be helpful, though we will test with your latest release.

Thanks, Tom

Please, send us DDL/DML scripts and a small test application and describe the steps we should follow to reproduce the issue. You can send us the files using our contact form: http://www.devart.com/company/contact.html

Also, please specify the following:
1. Parameters of your database:
1.1. NLS_LANGUAGE
1.2. NLS_CHARACTERSET
1.3. NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET
2. The regional settings of your machine (on which you run your application): Control Panel > Reginal and Language Options > the "Standards and formats" value, Location, and Language for non-Unicode programs.

Hi there,

thanks for your reply. In fact, I think this is more of an oracle problem that an issue with your library. If we do run into any specific problems, I will share the details.

Many thanks, Tom
