Tier Interaction Profiling

Post by [email protected] » Wed 31 Aug 2011 02:52

Does dotConnect for Oracle support the built in tier interaction profiling in Visual Studio 2010? If so how do I set it up?

According to microsoft, TIP will profile any ADO.Net compliant provider.

I have created a small test application that uses the Devart classes, ran the Analyze > Launch Performance Wizard menu of Visual Studio 2010, specified my *.exe. As a result, the report was generated for the Devart classes as well as for the classes of .NET Framework.

If you encounter any difficulties with dotConnect for Oracle using TIP, please describe the problem and tell us the steps we should follow to reproduce it.
