License error with SSIS deployment

Post by mrobinson1 » Tue 26 Apr 2011 20:19

How do you deploy dotconnect manually for SSIS packages. We've added the required dlls to the GAC and now get a license error. Not sure how to include the license information for SSIS. Looking thru the help docs it looks like you can it manually, but can't find a good example to follow. Also we would prefer not to have to go with the minimal install option because that would take a lot more time involving another group and lots more documentation.

The only option to deploy SSIS packages that use the Devart.* assemblies is the Minimal install of dotConnect for Oracle on the target machine. There is no way to embedd the license resource into the SSIS package.
