Direct connection perfomance

Hello.

We've tested some SELECT-queries under direct connection and under tns connection. Results are disappointing. Same queries under direct connection running slowly in ten times. What's causes of this? Are there any tricks to improve performance in direct connection case?

Please try the latest 5.35.52 version of dotConnect for Oracle. Does the problem persist with the latest version as well? If yes, please send us a project with your tests (include also the DDL/DML script), tell us the versions of your dotConnect for Oracle, Oracle Client and Oracle Server.
We will investigate the issue and notify you about the results as soon as possible.
