Oradirect and Data source view conflict in VS 2005

Postby alvinr » Fri 29 Feb 2008 15:56

Using data source view in SSIS or Analysis Services, after I install OraDirect 4.xx, I don't see any tables listed in the Add/Remove window.

Steps to recreate issue:
1)Create a new SSIS and Analysis Project
2)Add an oracle data source i.e Oracle OLE DB connection
3)Add new Data source view, and you will see no tables listed.

If you uninstall OraDirect, it starts working, you will get the lists of tables in the schema.
